ARTICLE 1 .-

UNIVERSITY NETWORK FOR INNOVATION IN THE VALLEY OF CAUCA - RUPIV, is a network of knowledge and technology transfer for the construction of a system Regional innovation in the Valle del Cauca - Colombia.

III. Promote the participation of business sectors in the region interested in innovation processes, in line with research and technological developments of the Scientific and Technological Community Vallecaucana.

IV. Promote the participation of researchers and innovators in the region in other research programs through multilateral agreements.

Finally, a vocation of RUPIV act as a bridge program for interregional cooperation in science and technology between Latin America, the European Union and Colombia.
