The RUPIV: Structure and Function
The University Network for Innovation in the Valley of Quack - RUPIV - is structured similarly to a partnership with a Whole of Directors and Representatives of the Research Office, which are all member universities, the latter being the main forum for debate and decision.

The RUPIV: Your Working groups

- CONTRACTS WORKING GROUP - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY: this working group's main purpose is to deepen the technical, legal (intellectual property), economic and budgetary research contracts.

- WORKING GROUP OF REALIZATION OF RESOURCES: its objective to identify possible sources of national and international funding to increase the participation of research groups from universities in the RED in the R + D + i.

- WORKING GROUP IN STRATEGIC PLANNING: this working group's main purpose is the design, development and control of the Strategic Development Plan of the RUPIV.

- EU COORDINATING COMMITTEE: this working group aims to coordinate activities among representatives to the committee by the productive sectors strategic and rectors of universities in the RED.

- WORKING GROUP DYNAMICS OF COMMITTEE UNIVERESIDAD-ENTERPRISE SECTORS: this working group aims to stimulate fundamental activities between strategic productive sectors and different groups of university research.


RUPIV: INDICATORS OF ACTIVITY

The following are some indicators representing the activity of universities in R + D + I and transfer of knowledge, developed from information obtained from the universities through the survey that annually launches RUPIV own Network

1) Number of Projects

The hiring of university research capabilities by firms and other actors has been a basic tool in the supportive role undertaken by the RUPIV since its inception in the System vallecauacano Innovation.

The RUPIV is increasingly aware of the importance of adequate protection of research results.

RUPIV The mission of the Network is to be responsible for promoting, facilitating and promoting innovation in the region of Valle del Cauca efforts to broaden and strengthen the university-enterprise-state, build trust and collaborative working in order to provide visible support to the activities of technology transfer and fostering innovation, contributing to economic development region.

IV. Promote the participation of researchers and innovators in the region in other research programs through multilateral agreements.
